LocalsGH is operated by Couproduc Ai Systems LLC, a New York registered company ("we", "us"). This policy covers our apps, websites and services, including Locals and Driver. Our proposed Ghana LTD is pending registration and is not identified here as an incorporated operator.
Our approved retention policy is to remove detailed GPS history within 30 days after a completed ride and retain minimized completed ride records for up to 24 months. Minimal payment, invoice and refund records are retained for 7 years after the end of the relevant financial year. Routine dispute records are retained for up to 24 months after resolution.
We complete verified account and associated personal-data deletion requests within 30 days. Records retained for a legal obligation, fraud prevention or a dispute are restricted to that purpose, minimized and removed when the justification expires. Litigation, injury and regulatory evidence may be subject to a documented legal hold, reviewed periodically and released when no longer necessary. A hold does not justify keeping unrelated profile data.
Our backup expiry target is no more than 90 days, subject to provider capabilities and legal holds. Deleted information in backups is not used for normal operations; if a backup is restored, deletion must be reapplied before returning it to service. We are verifying provider backup controls and implementing retention across services before store launch. These periods are our operating policy, not a statement that every automated purge mechanism is already active.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting support@localsgh.com. To initiate deletion in the app, open Account → Delete account. You can also use our account and personal-data deletion page without reinstalling the app. We verify requests to prevent unauthorized deletion and confirm completion separately from receipt. Device location, microphone and notification permissions can be revoked in your device settings; doing so does not delete your account.
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
