About Locals

Local rides, built for the coast.

Locals is an on-demand ride-hailing and delivery platform for three-wheelers (pragia/keke), taxis and motorbikes in Cape Coast, Elmina and the surrounding towns of Ghana's Central Region — the places the big global apps don't serve. Passengers open the Locals app to book a ride, send a parcel or run an errand, track their driver live on a map, and pay by Mobile Money, card or cash. Locals earns a small service commission on each completed trip; the rest goes to the driver.

We're on a mission to give every coastal town dependable, affordable transport in its own language — starting with Fante-first voice booking so anyone can ride or earn, whether or not they read English. Locals is a subsidiary within the CouProducAiSystems group. CouProducAiSystems LLC is the New York entity, and CouProducAiSystems LTD is the Ghana entity.

How do I book a ride?

Open the Locals app, set your pickup and destination (type it, drop a pin, or say it out loud), choose a pragia, taxi or moto, and confirm. Your driver's location and ETA show live on the map.

Where does Locals operate?

We're launching in Cape Coast and Elmina, then expanding across the Central Region and Ghana. Join the early-access list to be notified when we're live near you.

How do I pay?

Mobile Money, card (securely via Paystack), or cash to the driver. Fares are shown up front before you confirm.

How much does a ride cost?

Fares are based on distance and vehicle type and are always shown before you book. No surprise charges.

Is it safe?

Every driver is registered and identified in the app. You see your driver's name and vehicle, track the trip live, and can share it with someone you trust.

Can I cancel?

Yes — you can cancel before your driver arrives. If you paid online and the trip didn't happen, contact support and we'll resolve it.

How do I become a driver?

Open the Driver app, create an account and complete your profile. You will need a smartphone and an internet connection.
